Wistor as Common Data Environment (CDE) for the municipality of Utrecht

In the past year, BIM-Connected won the tender for the construction of an asset information facility for the Municipality of Utrecht; The way in which information about objects (assets) in the Public Space is provided.

As BIM-Connected, we are extremely proud that the municipality of Utrecht has chosen the vision to work with open data standards that disconnect data from applications. With this innovative solution, more efficient and sustainable information management is not far away. Together with Visma | iASSET, who are responsible for the Basic Public Space Management System, is taking the right steps with the municipality in the digital transition and data-driven working.

The strength of the Wistor platform for this assignment is:

πŸ‘‰ The platform is configured around the data (sets).

πŸ‘‰ Hosting data based on Linked Data

πŸ‘‰ Easy to use and apply open standards (NEN3610, NEN2660, IMBOR)

πŸ‘‰ Connect to the Common Ground principles of municipalities

πŸ‘‰ Automatically integrates and validates the data

πŸ‘‰ Viewer functionality

In the near future, several applications will be connected to the CDE, making more information available centrally and in a harmonized manner.
